“It is wise to believe something wonderful

is about to happen”. ~Anonymous

Welcome to Surviving with Dr. Chrissie — a space where truth meets healing and survival turns into purpose. I created this platform to give voice to the stories we’re often told to silence — the ones shaped by trauma, resilience, faith, and the long road to becoming whole again. Here, we talk about real life: the hard days, the messy healing, and the moments of grace that remind us we’re still standing. Through honest conversations, survivor stories, and a little bit of humor and hope, Surviving with Dr. Chrissie is more than a podcast or a blog — it’s a community. Because surviving isn’t the end of the story; it’s where the rebuilding begins.

Stop looking

What could you do more of?

What could I do more of? This is a very loaded question. One thing right now that I am trying to work on is stop looking at everyone else. What everyone else has. Where everyone else is. Why I don’t have what they have. And I think with social media this becomes harder and harder to not do because it’s thrown in your face daily. But the truth is, we’re all on a different journey. We all have different talents. We’re all trying to just stay in our own path and if we remember that then maybe it becomes easier to not care so much about what other people have. I am trying to be happy for others to embrace what I have and the blessings that God has given me. Try it out let me know your thoughts.

  1. In my pursuit of personal growth, I’ve realized that the key lies in following what brings me genuine joy. I don’t need to copy anyone else or covet what others have because I am uniquely and beautifully original. No matter how hard I try to imitate others, I can never deny my true self. I can do more my embracing my individuality and recognizing the strengths that comes from being authentic. Each day presents an opportunity to cultivate my passions and refine my skills without losing sight of who I am.
