“It is wise to believe something wonderful

is about to happen”. ~Anonymous

Welcome to Surviving with Dr. Chrissie — a space where truth meets healing and survival turns into purpose. I created this platform to give voice to the stories we’re often told to silence — the ones shaped by trauma, resilience, faith, and the long road to becoming whole again. Here, we talk about real life: the hard days, the messy healing, and the moments of grace that remind us we’re still standing. Through honest conversations, survivor stories, and a little bit of humor and hope, Surviving with Dr. Chrissie is more than a podcast or a blog — it’s a community. Because surviving isn’t the end of the story; it’s where the rebuilding begins.

Stop Saying Sorry for Being Too Much

Let me be real—this one’s for the women who’ve ever been told they’re “too much.”
Too loud.
Too emotional.
Too intense.
Too soft.
Too hard.
Too everything.

Let me guess—you’ve spent years shrinking yourself down to fit in rooms that couldn’t hold your truth. Apologizing for your feelings, your fire, your fullness. Swallowing your “too much” so someone else could feel comfortable in their smallness.

Not anymore.
Stop saying sorry for being too much.

You weren’t made to be manageable. You were made to be real.
To speak truth that shakes people awake.
To feel deeply in a world that profits off numbness.
To take up space with your presence, your voice, your healing.

If someone calls you “too much,” tell them to look away.
You weren’t created to be palatable—you were born to be powerful. Why should we change who we are to accommodate them?

And let’s be honest:
If the people around you can’t handle your growth, your boundaries, or your brilliance, they’re not your people.

Say it with me:
I am not too much.
I am exactly enough.

Let’s hear your thoughts
