“It is wise to believe something wonderful

is about to happen”. ~Anonymous

Welcome to Surviving with Dr. Chrissie — a space where truth meets healing and survival turns into purpose. I created this platform to give voice to the stories we’re often told to silence — the ones shaped by trauma, resilience, faith, and the long road to becoming whole again. Here, we talk about real life: the hard days, the messy healing, and the moments of grace that remind us we’re still standing. Through honest conversations, survivor stories, and a little bit of humor and hope, Surviving with Dr. Chrissie is more than a podcast or a blog — it’s a community. Because surviving isn’t the end of the story; it’s where the rebuilding begins.

Living a Thousand Lives: Why It All Comes Back to Life

Life…..

If you were to lay out the chapters of my life, you might think they belonged to a thousand different women. I’ve loved deeply, lost painfully, fought fiercely, and rebuilt quietly. I have lived a thousand lives in one body — and every experience has shaped the way I see the world.

I live to talk about it all.
The beautiful, the messy, the unbelievable.
I live to talk about motherhood, heartbreak, healing, survival, ambition, faith, fear, growth, love — all the things that carve into us and make us who we are.

But no matter what the conversation is — whether it’s about surviving the hardest seasons or chasing the most daring dreams — every topic always comes back to one thing: life.

Life, with all its twists and turns.
Life, in its raw, complicated, breathtaking fullness.
Life, in the way it refuses to fit into any neat little box.

I believe every story matters. Every scar matters. Every victory, every loss, every lesson matters. And every time I share a part of my journey, my hope is that someone else feels a little less alone in theirs.

This space isn’t just for the highlight reel. It’s for the hard days, the hilarious moments, the “I don’t know how I’m standing but I’m still here” kind of days. It’s for real life.
Because if I’ve learned anything, it’s that living isn’t just about surviving the easy parts — it’s about finding meaning, and even beauty, in every piece of the journey.

And that’s what I’m here to keep doing: living, learning, sharing, and honoring all the lives I’ve lived — and the ones still ahead.
